Notes from the Creator: One of my favorite mediums, ink on paper, captures the dark essence of the theme "Horror/ Paranoia." In this case the paranoia isn't coming from this Venetian Lagoon's feral cat, but the cornered rat it's about to ingest. This piece plays with perspective as it places the viewer in the eyes of the rat aforementioned--as we get to experience the rat's final feelings of HORROR. It almost helps to angle the picture up, as if you (the rat) are looking up at the cat, getting the full effect of the cat's eager gaze, moments before the pounce that punches the clock on this rat's life-time.
