Notes from the Creator: Deception's Web (what awaits?) is a 24 x 18 inch drawing made of ballpoint pen. My intention after graduation is to gain an apprenticeship and become a tattoo artist, and my inspiration behind this piece was to express the style I am aiming to bring into my tattoo practice. I am very interested in Japanese style tattooing, and also enjoy invoking uncomfortable feelings in my work, which often result in the paranoid horror theme that this piece contains.
